The Beatles - Beatles For Sale (CD 1988)

One of the few CDs I have bought a number of times throughout my life. Where do they all go? Someone must have nicked them. Why? Because it's just great simple music.

No Reply; Baby's in Black; Follow the Sun and the irrepressible Eight Days a Week - so direct, uncomplicated, straight from the heart. Songs that capture a time when pop music was smart but not convoluted.

This is music for everyone at ordinary times. Just put it on while friends are cleaning the house, opening a bottle of wine or just arriving. See how they react. And don't get hung up about explaining why you like it. Then just put it away and forget it about it for a few more weeks.

This is the forth album by The Beatles featuring not only the songs written by Lennon/McCartney, but also excellent versions of Chuck Berry or Buddy Holly's stuff.
Know the whole album by heart but somebody borrowed mine to listen couple of years ago and I guess liked it so much that has decided to keep it. So had to buy another one.
Buy it or just listen to it if you haven't yet - amazing, uplifting, giving kinda sense of warmth and simply REAL Music!!!

Listening to this now, its an excellent album with great songs on there, well written and well sang as only the beatles can do it. I am a fan so biased, this kind of music never dies

My late wife had this on vynil but like all our similar it is safely stored. I wanted to be able to play this and put it on my ipod. there is nothing to dilike about this purchase

WE HAD THE ORIGINAL ALBUM IN THE 60S AND I THOUGHT IT WAS A MASTERPIECE
I DIDNT KNOW IT WAS ON CD FORMAT AND DIDNT HESITATE TO BUY IT.
Im sure Ill have this for a long time to come

I was growing up when the Beatles first started..Actually saw them twice as supporting artists.Have always enjoyed their music.

The reason i bought this album is because I wanted to complete my Beatles cd collection. I think it is a very upbeat album, full of catchy, well known songs like "Eight Days A week". Very pleaed with it.

This is another classic beatles album which not as famous as there others is still well worth a listen.still has 14 songs on so worth getting for the quality of music on it.i got this cd because i wanted to complete my beatles collection which is nearly done now.
