after 30 years of Galactica....

Having been a viewer and purchaser of the original series, when the new series arrived I was looking forward to the slightly slapstick riding off onto the sunset routine again.
This time it was going deeper into many questions which the human race will have to address one day. I felt three out of the five years were realy a little depressive leaving a sense of sadness, rather than entertainment, although an excelent drama for the mature audience.
Back to the final season, well, the first few discs plodded along a little above the normal standard, but the final episode of the final year was a sheer joy, it had the lot, cleared up so many things spanning the years of galactica, a nice little twist (although my fellow viewer did not realise it).
In a nutshell, if you have seen the rest this is a must, it will take a couple of viewings to apprciate all the content, it is a full length feature.
Now there is an spin-off, we will wait and see on that one.......
