Bangkok Hilton (DVD 2000)

Thoroughly enjoyed watching this again. Better than I remembered when it was shown on TV. Highly recommended.

remember watching it years ago and wanted to watch it again so kept looking on ebay and as soon as i won the item and it was delivered i watched it all the way through i didnt move for hours it was just as good as i remember would give it 10 out of 10 all the way

one of the frist movies nicole kidman made very good and keeps you guessing till the end it the others chariters are very good to well actored

This couldn't be better - witness Denholm Never Less Than Brilliant Elliott at his usual best as a super top quality English boozer on a mission to get sober and sort his daughter's problems simultaneously - also Hugo Weaving as the best oily lawyer you'd want on your case and Nicole when she was an actress rather than a superstar or Mrs Tom Cruise.
When cute, asthmatic and incredibly wealthy Kat Stanton (Kidman) journeys to London on a geneaological quest she never imagines that the charming young man who beds her(Jerome Ehlers)will tuck several kilos of best quality heroin in the camera case he so kindly bought her. Needless to say it's discovered by an exceptionally clever airport dog, and Ms Kidman is soon having a cosy chat with two rather grumpy policemen. This is where her troubles begin ....... she's in Thailand - where dope pushers face a mandatory death sentence - administered by a handsome young gent with a machine gun !

I remembered seeing it when it first was shown on tv and wanted to see it again. It was as good as I remembered.

Good plot, well acted and shot in various locations around the world. A good vehicle for the vastly under-rated Denholm Elliott

We enjoyed the series when it was originally shown in 2000; bought the dvd and enjoyed watching it again. It's a really good story which keeps you watching right to the end. Nicole Kidman and the other main actors all play their parts well. Would recommend, entertaining and at times edge of seat watching!

i decided to buy this because i had seen it on television and thought how good it was bought it this time it still had me engrossed could watch it all over again

I enjoyed this film first on TV & have been waiting for a repeat which did not arrive .I then bought this disk and enjoyed it as much as the first time.
