Bad Company - Straight Shooter (CD 1999)

Bad Company Straight Shooter has all the hallmarks of a truley great rock albumn, Rock as it should be played, anybody listening for the first time will be hooked wanting more...
True musicians will tell you this has some of the best guitarists and vocals on any cd. A real desert island disc choice, which you will never tire of. You'll recognise all the tracks although you never have known who the artists were before now. Bad Company will always leave you wanting more...try some of their other albums eg Bad Co by Bad Company, you wont be disappointed.

I had the album on vinly and it is one of my favourites so decided to look for the CD. The transaction from the seller was excellent along with the quality of sound it has lost none of its magic when being remastered.

Not quite up to the mark of the original album by BC but very good none the less. The rework of Good Lovin' was interesting and the opportunity to hear tracks that I first owned on an LP over 30 years ago almost makes me want to grow my hair again! £5 for a trip down memory lane - hard to beat for VFM!

A perfect example of 70`s blues rock and very typical of that era.
Bad Co. were an obvious extension of Free, and this album is by far their best work.
Paul Rogers delivers well and younger music fans who wonder why he has replaced Freddy Mercury would do well to check out his early career..
Coupled with his song writing credentials along with Ralphs and Kirke make this album stand out...
A timeless work that stands up well against more modern releases.

I was so pleased to get my hands on this CD, primarliy for the second track "Feel like making love". I have dealt with the traders before and if you're looking for CD's that just aren't available anywhere else, these are people you should consider. The product is great. It's new and shiney and price-wise it beats the high street and other on-line retailers hands down. Don't you just love it when a trade works out this way?

heard one of this band records playing rock band on xbox. classic album, classic game. if you like rock you should own both

Paul Rogers is the greatest rock/blues singer ever & this is the best Bad Company album It's varying songs gives paul the stage to show his great voice in all types of rocky blues music with one of his best songs "Feel Like Makin' Love" the centre piece of a truly great album,All the Bad Company CD's(with Paul Rogers) are great the later stuff with a replacement singer (Joe Hart I think was his name) is also good but should be compaired against Paul as he is a Hard act to follow.

Classic album that I listened to through my teenage years, this was one of my favourites and as the album was my mothers and on LP I have started collecting all the great oldies on CD for myself.

Excellent group, magical music, if you are considering this album for the first time, all I can advice is for you to buy, you will not be disappointed.
