Baby Einstein - Baby Mozart - Music Festival (DVD 2003)

i was told about this product by other mums and decided to try it for myself. Being a teacher i know the importance of early development and the calming effect music can have on babies and children. I tried this dvd for the 1st time today thinking my 8 week old son would be too young and he has not been 'put in front of bthe tv' before. Wow!! he sat mesmorised through the whole lot, watching as characters went back and forth across the screen! This will be a god send im sure for those days when you cant even get the bottles sterilized!! A gat buy, i'll definately be buying others in the series!!

The baby einstein brand use simple images and classical music to gain and hold baby's attention. My baby is 4 months old and will watch the DVD from beginning to end, gurgling and smiling! I'm not sure why it is so appealing to babies to it certainly seems to be! One word of warning though, I also have a 3 year old who seems to think it is one long advert for toys!

I'm a music teacher so was a bit sceptical about buying this but it is great! My son loves the various coloured images, animals and animated characters which are all accompanied by lively stimulating music. I have now invested in the 23 DVD box set.

I was recommended this by a friend who uses it with her baby so she can have a shower while her baby is happy to watch this alone. I have twins and use it when it gets to 4.30-5.00pm and they are starting to be restless and whingy - can't bear it - stick this on and together we watch in peace and quiet the toys as they move and calm them ready for bath time routine. Haven't watched all of it - only use the Mozart concert bit with pictures and toys. Love the music in the background for calming me!

I've got a few Baby E DVDs already and was looking for another to add to my collection for my 10 month old daughter. This is a lovely show for baby with Mozart music, lights and puppets. My baby loves to watch the puppets and toys and her eyes light up when I go to put on the DVD. I ensure she only has half an hour or so a day watching DVDs and Baby E is definitly the best for babys.

My seven months old baby loves it. I would recommend to anyone who wants to keep their baby occupied for some time. Music, colours and movements make the video really enjoyable for the baby.

the dvd didnt even work and the seller has not been in contact to offer a explaination jus an example of sombody just ripping u off for money

I know that is good and educational but until you get to the begining you have to watch lots and lots of boring stuffs

Brilliant. My 4 month old is mesmerised by it.
Gives me a few minutes to get on with things and keeps her really interested and happy

This dvd uses the catchiest tunes from Mozart, which I find myself humming after the dvd has been playing. The baby this was bought for had already seen and enjoyed Neighbourhood Animals and World Animals and likes the animals and puppets on this one but is bored by the other toys. It is quite relaxing and got her off to sleep the other day while she was sitting on my lap. It seems to do the same to adults who watch it!

My little boy liked it but it was not as entertaining as other DVDs from this series Animals and Van Gogh.

I bought this for my 7 week old son thinking he'd probably be too young at the moment but might like it a bit later on. However, he loves it and is glued to the screen when it comes on, responding with smiles and gurgles. It's a very simple idea designed to stimulate the senses of even very young babies using Mozarts music whilst showing childrens toys, puppets and moving colours. All I can say is it seems to work for my little one - and the added bonus is that it gives me around half an hour to catch up on other things while he's content !

Baby loves this!!! Highly recommended. Music is excellent and images well chosen and thought out. My little one is only 4 1/2 months but really kept his attention.

Brilliant product – bought it as VHS for my 4 years old (4 years ago) – bought it aging as DVD for my new one!

I bought it for my grandchildren but they were considerably more advanced than this. Maybe if they'd been introduced in infancy rather than now (4 & 2)it would have been better.
