My wife used to be a hairdresser (though principally for ladies) and has been using proper scissors to do my hair. Lately she has been bothered by the time it takes to get the desired result and so I have been to a barbers. They use clippers similar to what I've purchased, get the hair cut just right and my wife said she would do my hair again if I bought something similar. I, there-fore, looked for a trimmer with a selection of combs to achieve the graduated cut my wife said was needed. This trimmer 'ticked all the right boxes' and, though not brand new, is a reputable brand and works just fine and my wife is pleased with it (and I'm pleased with the cut). For what I paid I'm very pleased with the purchase.
