Reviews Review created: 09/04/08 by: I bought this album because I heard 'spread your love' as background music on the TV programme 'skins'. I would have to say that that track is head and shoulders better than any other track on the album. Having said that 'spread your love' is a classic rock track. The other tracks tend to sound average against that one. I would still buy this album just to get that one track. Review ID: 10000000006605849 Was this review helpful? BRMC we're a band that got into afew years ago and never got around to buying their album, so now in the age of mp3 an ipods and down loading music everything is super fast and at a click of a button, i guess i'm an old fashioned guy who likes to take his time with things and slow down a little, and cds give us the chance to chill from that ratrace of life, i like to collect cd's an often browse E'bay for old cd's that i couldn't afford when i was a poor student living off beer, and sometimes pick up a bargain new cd that i wanted. Why BRMC? well i guess like everybody else music takes us to a special place time an place where we first heard it and what we was doing, i was in the Academy when "love burns" came on i was dancing with a girl who i was really trying to pull, it reminds me of being footloose an fancy free, and it is a really good album to rock out too. Ebay is a great place to pick up cd's and relive some nostalgia times, or just creating some new ones, because i work i get don't get time to browse around cd shops, and when i'm not working i spend my time with my two kids playing cd's and dancing to the music that i love, and Ebay gives you a pretty good discription rating so it is great for someone like me with very little time to go out hunt for cd's. Oh by the way i didn't get the girls number, she said "you dance like a nutter" and walked off!. Funski Review ID: 10000000003763323 Was this review helpful? This particular item is a fantastic buy as it is a great album by a great band at a cheap price. Buying CD's is better than downloading songs as it keeps the music industry alive and makes it more likely for us to enjoy music in the future. The seller made it very easy with quick delivery time and the item is in first class condition. Review ID: 10000000001475970 Was this review helpful? Report this review |
