Avril Lavigne - Let Go [ECD] (CD 2002)

Nice album from the very talented Avril Lavigne. Who could ignore such passionate youthful expression? This album has some of the tracks which catapulted Avril to the top of her genre, the voice of the text generation.
A WARNING that this album resists being copied into windows media for conversion to mp3 - it has some kind of anti-copying program on the cd. So you may not be able to put it onto your ipod.

Avril's debut album is most likely her best.With great tracks such as COMPLICATED and SKATER BOI this album is a must for teens with real attitude. Avril has got a good singing voice but her newer stuff got too chart friendly. This album has a nice mix of songs.I think anyone who's 13 to 30 should enjoy this cd as much as i do!!!

In Avril’s very first album, she stole the hearts of millions of teenagers worldwide. In this very album, she carved her identity in history forever. This album is the very reason Avril is who she is today. Despite being a young teenager, Avril Lavigne done something the majority of people her age could never do. She spilled her innermost thoughts; her biggest regrets; her happiest and darkest feelings onto paper for the whole world to see, and used her amazing musical talents to make millions from it. Today, she might say “Complicated” is just a stupid song about a failed teenage relationship, but it was with this very track that all those people still listen to her today. Although I can’t say I like every song on this album, I can say that each and every track is worth a whole-hearted listen. “Sk8er Boi”, the instant classic, “I’m Nobodies Fool” and “Losing Grip” remain my three favourites to this very day. My least favourite track has to be “Some Things I’ll Never Say”, a slightly irritating track that I still steer clear of putting on my ipod. But as a whole, this album is an excellent homage to Avril’s sheer diversity in music; one minute, you could be rocking along to a fast, instantly lovable anthem, the next, getting your anger out by singing along with a hate-filled power-ballad. I may be only one person , but I would recommend this record to anybody who feels some sort of disfunction in their life. So get a copy, sit back, relax, and Let Go.

I have listened to this CD so much that i scratched the first to death, so had to buy another. This cd is great - i would recommend it to anyone who likes powerful tunes.

Love the album, great voice - my kind of music. I bought it because i haven't got any of her albums and always wanted one. I think she's great. Type of music a male would sing so it makes a change to have a female voice.

I absolutely love Avril Lavigne and i already have all he albumz but i wanted 2 ov each one just incase [= (: she iz amazin singer and i can relate to her muzic. I know he muzic and style iznt for eeryone but it defnately iz for me and i will alwayz support her and be her number 1 fan..!

Awesome first CD by avril lavigne. Great character, with some catchy tunes and original lyrics. Loads of nice slow ballad songs that still have some kick in them like I'm with you and Too much to ask.

her early work is amazing, really thrilled me when i found it for just 1p. well worth listening to on a hot summer day, in the car, windows down!!!!

Great songs! Suitable for any age group (my eight year old loves anything from Avril and I like her stuff too.

Everyone who likes punk rock must have this album. I have all avril's albums, all revelant! I love listening when it's raining outside.

I totally love Avril's first album. It's just full of punky tennage girl songs that everyone can relate to. Thats why i like Avril so much. I recommend this C.D to anyone who enjoys pop/punk music and who likes to sing along to her words.

A fabulous album with a variety of songs. Avril is a great artist and this is her best album to date. Great cd i would reccomend it to anyone.

Really good album some excellent music and catchy songs this is one of my favorite artists and i rate her 9 out of 10.

I really do think this is the best album of the three it has great tracks on it one for every mood, especially when I have just finished work.

I bought this album as I like Avril Lavigne and this was the only album I didn’t have.

If you didn't know, I love this album.

CD was in good condition it worked perfectly.
I felt the price was very good for an old CD.
There was nothing that i disliked about the CD or the service and would use this company again.

This album is very good. It contains some well known tracks: Complicated, Sk8r Boi and many other great tracks: Mobile and Tomorrow.

The structure is varied and you won't get bored. Can be listened to again and again. Very long lasting.

Avril's voice is different to many other female singers and she shows an original style in both lyrics and music.

I strongly recommend this album to those who like rock/pop and is willing to try something new. For the young teens to young adult, may not suit older adults.

I really enjoyed this CD, I think that it has a good mix of moods...In my late 20's and still suffering form teenage anguish at times I identified with the subject matter and was humming along sooner than the generation gap expected! I found the disc hard to play on my computer without it opening up the video features, but apart from that - buy it - sell it - love it!
