Auschwitz - The Nazis And The Final Solution (DVD 2005)

I decided to buy this DVD after a lifelong interest in the Holocaust and the psychology of the Nazi regime. I visited Poland with my son in August 2006 to see Auschwitz. It was a profoundly disturbing and emotive experience which prompted me to purchase this DVD.

Although I have read countless books on the modus operandi of the Nazi party, especially circumstances surrounding Hitler's final solution, this DVD gave me a further insight and a vague understanding of the bizarre ideals which constituted thier actions of exterminating the Jews. I have Jewish friends,and look at them and try to see beyond their rights as human beings in some way to try and comprehend, but try as I may, I cannot come to terms with the sheer horror perpetrated by such a force as the SS at the command of Hitler. A mad man, but we all know that. All forces of evil are mad.
The DVD is a must for anyone remotely interested in this sort of thing. It is informative, well researched and the graphics are awesome.
Go to Poland, pay your respects: this must not happen again.
