Auf Wiedersehen Pet - The Complete Fourth Series (DVD 2004)

Having all ready purchased the previous box sets of the Auf Wiedersehen series' I wanted this one to complete the collection. It was with some trepidation that I started to watch the episodes, worried that time would have taken its toll on the characters developed by Messrs Clements and La Frenais. I need not have worried, the characters have grown, the storyline is of the usual high standard and once again you are back with the lads. This is a must have for anyone who liked the 'down to earth', un-P.C., humour that we grew up with.

good classic comedy with no political correctness , the best dramas are the ones with every day characters

I wanted to see it again because I really enjoyed all of the AWP series and we were going to Cuba so it gave me a flavour for the place. It certainly did that! Excellent entertainment!!

I did not like the storyline in this series I liked the characters and found it interesting that their personal idenities stayed the same but was disappointed with the story line when the others were so good it was a letdown and quite forgettable considering it was the last serious.I thought the storyline for Barry was good and well acted

well where can i start?, the boys decide to go to cuba to repair damage to the british embassy. oz falls foul of the law yet again, barry gets kidnapped, neville becomes a spy!!!, lots of laughs as always and all the lads getting into scrapes. i love a,v pet, i now have the full series to my name and get great pleasure watching the lads escapades. sadly gary holton ( wayne ) died in series 2, so doesnt make an appearance. however his on screen son wyman makes up the numbers on this trip. everyone can identify with the lads are they are just a bunch of hard working brits. recommended to all, this is a great series by martin stanley

As somebody who goes back to the very first episode of this long running masterpiece, this series is total quality, along with all of the rest. The team have joined up again, this time working for the British Embassy in Cuba.

This is a well acted television series with a superb cast.

Despite groaning with boredom at the mention of Auf Wiedersehen Pet, I can't help but watch it when my husband puts it on..............Oz has got to be every womans worst nightmare but it is a really enjoyable series.

This is another great escapade from our favourite brickies!!! Of course, it was never going to be as good as the first two series, but in every other way, this is such an enjoyable romp, that it has to be seen, over and over, and thoroughly enjoyed too!! All the gang up to their old tricks, with plenty of new twists to bring a laugh and a smile to anyone's face, guaranteed!! An absolute winner, no quibbles, one to keep!!! Enjoy!!! Brill got a right bargain fantastic bough it for my husband he loves all the series. Always get a good bargain on ebay wouldnt go anywhere else. If we need anything, straight on ebay first and we always find what we are looking for.Thank god for ebay

i love auf wiedersehen pet this series is set in cuba with the lads working for the british goverment,the usual complications follow with neville going undercover for mi5.barry as nuerotic as ever.oz falling for a ballet dancer and poor bomber looking a pale shadow of his self.i prefer the itv versions where they didnt cram so much into every episode and there was more of them usally 13 instead of six you get now. but quailty shows whatever the amount,enjoy

Having been an Auf Wiedersehen fan from the first time round, i HAD to buy this. The lads are back in action again, this time in Cuba, working for the British Embassy.

A must for all fans!
