Auf Wiedersehen Pet - Complete Brand New Series (DVD 2002)

This nice little box contains 4 DVDs containing the whole second series of AufPet. Once again we are with the "Magnificent Seven" as they work together to scratch a living. This time the series is based firstly in Derbyshire and then the action moves to Spain. In my opinion this series is just as funny as the first, if not better. The humour is still the same with all the characters retaining their funny aspects from series one.

Great series, enjoyed it first time round and looking forward to watching the complete series and specials all again. Characters are great and acting v. good

Have bought as a present for my daughter who loves the series as do all of the family and this is one that she has not yet got

This is a fantastic series. Series 3 & 4 were good but Series 1 in my opinion was a hard act to follow. Brilliant series from the '80's. Still had the same appeal today as it did back then which is a rarity. Would definetely recommend this series to anyone, especially Europeans. Just one more to collect I think for me and that is the special .. the Grand finale to a great series. Glad I got my hands on it. :>)

Very,very funny, cleverly put together storylines, thats in some instances is funny in itself cus you know what'll happen.
The guys have aged now , its not quite the same without "wayne". The decission to introduce "wyman" (Waynes son) doesnt seem to be quite right, as he's a music DJ , not a builder, (its a bit like a florist taking up a job on an oil-rig , it just does'nt happen!)

Barry is as funny as ever, as do the other charectors play thier unique charector roles well.

Lots of laughs, I've now got complete sets 1,2,3 & 4 ,& Well worthy a place in my DVD collection.

Not as good as series 1 + 2 but its a long gap between them and this.
Some laugh out loud moments tho from oz and the boys and if you liked it before you will like this, plot seems a bit far fetched but it works due to the great dramatic and comedy acting, young wyman (waynes son) is a worthy addition in place of the dead wayne.

A good solid 6 episodes (an hour each) - perhaps a bit short considering series 1+2 were 13 episodes each but its well worth it to see the boys back.

Really good to see Oz and the gang back in new surroundings. Typical geordie humour all the way through.

This one is brilliant, the same daft characters back in the UK trying to take down a bridge, it is so funny you cannot stop watching it.

It's fantastic to have some entertainment which although the storyline is unlikely it is believable. Excellent series and great to see the guys back together. Really sad to see the end of it. I bought it because it is so easy to watch and is one of those favourtes that you never get fed up of watching.

my husband love the programme and when i seen it on here for the great price i had to get him one. im sure he will have hours of entertainment watching the programme

i LOVE every episode in every series its the best tv program ever - i was only a kid when this came out first round time (first and second series) and i think its a really good and hilarious program to watch

I ENJOYED SEEING THE CAST AGAIN , I DECIDED TO BUY THE DVD BECAUSE I ENJOYED THE FIRST AND SECOND SERIES.

Unlike at least one of the other two reviews listed for this item, I'm commenting on the third series of the show, not the second, and on the show itself, not the failure of one or more sellers to deliver it.

Without giving the story away, it starts in the UK, then switches to the USA. Almost all of the regulars are back - with the notable exception of one who died while filming the second series. The story is okay, if a bit forced in places, and makes for enjoyable, light-hearted entertainment. Not as good as the first two, but then maintaining the same quailty would have been very difficult.
