concrete rose

for christmas i asked for 25 albums, all from ebay, the most expensive being £3 (inc. p + p), in these 25 i asked for all three ashanit albums ("ashanti", "chapter 2" and "concrete rose"). now when ashanti first appeared on the scene she was the angel voiced, but bad assed princess of the label murda inc., and she was an automatic star. album 2 came along and she produced more hit singles, but all following a very similar sound to the first album, and then album 3.
if u played all three albums together, back to back, you would really struggle to dechiper between them all, don't get me wrong, there are quite a number of really good songs, but a majority of same old same old, quite bad ones, also thrown in with plugs for other artists (rappers and her sister...) and constant "skits"...4 seconds of talking, with nothing to do with anything!
i love ashanti, but if u don't like one of her songs, you won't like any.
i realise i sound quite brutal, as actually she does push herself to a few guitars and actually-meant ballads (the singles: "only u" and "don't let them") but that is it, the album is just like everything else.
