  ARCADIA- WOT A ALBUM
Review created: 02/05/08

AN EXCELLENT OLD ALBUM FROM WHEN DURAN DURAN SPLIT FOR A WHILE.THREE OF THE DURANEES WORKED ON A SHORT TERM PROJECT WHICH THEN BECAME "ARCADIA" AND BOY WAS IT WORTH IT.FROM THE VERY FIRST SONG "ELECTION DAY" TO THE LAST,THE ALBUM SETS A HIGH STANDARD.IT IS VERY EIGHTIES WITH NICK RHODES ON KEYBOARDS,THEN YOU HAVE ROGER TAYLOR AND FINALLY SIMON LE BON.THE ONLY SAD NOTE FOR ARCADIA WAS THERE WAS ONLY EVER ALBUM.

  Great album
Review created: 08/04/08

The album was described as used so, naturally, I was expecting a few scatches or scuffs. But I was delighted to discover the disc and the case were untouched with barely a finger mark on either of them.

  A forgotten Eighties classic.

I never really cared for Duran Duran, but make no mistake this album is a cut above some of their other work. Featuring Rhodes, Le Bon and Taylor you have an album of diversity from the catchy 'Election Day' to the haunting 'Lady Ice'.
Something a bit different but truly entertaining.
