As the owner of 5 iPods, I love my 2 nanos the best. I bought this one as I already had a 4GB 2nd gen nano from new and fancied an 8GB one. I can put my photos on this. I use them both every day (but not at the same time). I wear them round my neck and they are small enough that I can do jobs round the house while listening to my podcasts. I wear the old one when I do messy jobs and my new one for walking to work or to town. I don't dislike anything about either of them except the 4GB one is a bit too small for all my stuff.
I also have a classic which I hate, but it holds all my iTunes library including videos; a 1GB shuffle which was a gift, but I hardly use and a new Touch which is great, but I don't like the bigger iPods for listening as I move around - pockets don't feel as secure.

my first ipod
) After hearing everyone else talking about the ipod and the wife really wanting one i decided to buy her one for the time of year when all blokes get stuck for presents, namely Christmas. I however decided that i too needed to get one so i could get it figured out how to work the brute before she gets hers so I could have all music already on it. After about a week of looking on that site we all love called ebay I finally found one I liked or rather did not get outbid on and paid the money. In a nutshell i think it would be fair to say that I really like it. It is the best digital music player I have had yet. Well worth getting. I bought the wife's for her today from apple itself as it is the new nano 5th gen. Main reason it was bought there was the free engraving I got on it. Well in fairness it has to look like i have put some thought into it. Anyway back to the ipod. If you are on the fence about getting one get off the fence and buy one. Highly recommended!!!!
