I have to start by saying that I love almost everything about this product. I had been saving up extra money for a long time and was extremely annoyed when the new iPhone 3Gs was announced, leaving the current 16Gb iPhone discontinued. I did not want to pay an extra £100 for the new iPhone and so turned to ebay to see if I could catch one of the older ones at a reasonable price while I still could. I found a white iPhone 3g for just £300 and rushed to click buy it now. It arrived in the post 3 days later and I haven't put it down since. It does almost everything you could possibly want and there are tons of both free and paid apps on the App Store to suit anyone. The phone feels like a quality product and is well built. I could not possibly be more pleased, infact I struggle to think of any bad points about this product. Perhaps the start-up time seems a little long but that doesn't really bother me at all. The battery life is even much better than I anticipated. A highly recommended product!

Great Features! Easy operating system! I had a Sony Ericsson X1 Before This Phone but the iphone is much easier to use to use and the internet pages are easier to view. The only downside is Battery Life is short when using your phone alot. But overall a fantastic phone for looks and features.

I have long been a fan of Nokia N95 8GB and various N-SERIES phones. But I love to browse the internet, and the web browsing experience on the iPhone blows everything else out of the water.

It is so simple to use, I have owned many PocketPCs and installing applications were so complicated. But with the iPhone you can click on the app store and download loads of free applications and games. Also the iPhones supports international keyboards, it lets you change the keyboard to Japanese, Chinese or Arabic (very userful to me because I study Japanese and Arabic :)).

It has a massive 8GB built in memory and the battery life is amazing compared to my N95 8GB. I have played my MP3 player on my iPhone from the start of uni and left it running till the end of the end and it still had half the battery left... unbelievable.

I love going online, just a few taps and I'm on my GMAIL account and my other Uni account (Microsoft Exchange Server). Even though the phone doesn't support picture messaging... I just send a higher quality version of the picture by email instead. And since the web browsing is free, I dont get charged anything for it. How cool is that?.

I have converted three full movies and I still have 2 GB left on my phone. iTunes lets me import my existing collection of music from CD to the iPhone and it automatically makes a backup of my contacts... no messing about with Nokia PC Suite. Also when I connect my iPhone to any pc, it automatically starts recharging.

Now that I have this phone... I can't imagine any other phone that can do the same. I have tried the new samsung touch screen phones and lg pixon.... but the web browsing is very slow and takes ages to react.

iPhone is the best phone on the market at the moment if you are into music, video playback and web browsing. If you need it for high quality images... buy a digital camera!!!.

absolutely appaling user. sold me a fake item, and when i disputed this the user cancelled their account leaving me unable to claim through ebay and paypal. User also refuses to reply to emails and so i am being forced to go to the police and repot user for selling fake goods

Absolutely love this phone i had an ipod touch for ages so i decided to sell up and pay that extra bit for the iphone, the ease of use is great the internet is speedy and the email functions are great just everything you want in a phone just 1 word to end this review BUY!!!

Looks great, real good fun using the touch screen all until you need to use it as a phone! iphone a big clue in the name!! Great if your absolutely still other than that useless. Constantly searching for network then no network even when the outdated mobile phone has full signal. The most frustrating phone i've ever owned bearing in mind that only lasted four days back to the tried and tested sony... I love my sony, to talk to people and everything.

O2,My Backside,get an unlocked i-phone,mine works great on vodapone,not sure about the white phone it does get HOT with constant use.

The old 2g iphone was really good, the 3g is just plain excellent.

I was a samsung omnia user before but broke it.
I bought the iphone for replacement...
The screen is awesome especially under the sunlight.
At first I thought that a lot was missing ( Divx/xvid player , video recording, copy/paste fonction, etc..) but I learnt how to jailbreak it and install the apps I needed. Now I love it

like : Design, quality of the graphics, huge library of apps, games, music player, and general aspect ( the omnia looked a bit cheap compared to this phone),

Dislike: the camera doesn't have a flash so it is useless by night which is a shame, the screen is a fingerprints nightmare

Great phone. Outstanding design. Massive memory. I bought it to use internet on the move and I found it very useful.
But it's been hard to have the phone full-unlocked , anyway.
Would recommend to everyone who want to browsing web on the move.

Is an excellent phone... BUT, poor battery life and ringtones function is poor too. Everything else is Mamaia excellent phone.

Best phone in the world as of yet,nothing has come close to this,as of yet.The touch is very responsive,if you try and use the nokia 5800,the touch screen on that is very poor,and not so responsive,i have just tested the new iphone firware 3.0,which is still in beta,but it will have all the missing features like mmms-bluetooth-copy&paste-voice memo,and lots more.Once the new firware comes out you will be able to upgrade to this new firmware,it will be out in the summer.

It's not so much the product that I want to review, although the phone is fantastic but more so the people I purchased it from. Their after sales where fantastic, i had some issues with delivery (it turned up 20 minutes after the message I sent!) but then with connectivity. I emailed the company and a rep phoned me back and ran through some procedures with me and I haven't had a problem since. Absolutely fantastic company and would reccomend them to anyone.

No doubt the Apple iPhone was game changer when it came out. I too was entranced by the hype machine and wanted an iPhone and to be honest, with good reasons in places. I say "in places" mainly because there are some major things that bring the iPhone down in my opinion, but first lets cover the good.

Good things:

1) It's a beautifully crafted device
2) The screen is fantastic
3) The touch interface is the best out there
4) The ease at which you can buy/download applications is dangerous, but in a good way.
5) The web browsing on it is fantastic
6) The integration of iPod, phone, camera and entertainment device is great, you only need one device in your pocket.

The Bad:

1) BATTERY LIFE! it truly is shocking. It's all well and good having an iPod/phone/entertainment device all in one, but if you're listening to music while browsing the web or sending emails, then it absolutely canes the battery life. I have to charge my phone every day and if i know there's going to be a time where it'll be in heavy usage, i have to put it on an additional charge especially.
2) It's not able to run different applications in the background. So for instance, you can't pause a game, reply to a text, then come back to the game.....it has to close.
3)It randomly drops calls, or doesn't even ring sometimes, this could be due to the carrier or the device....i don't know.
4) You're not able to take out the battery and change it for one with a better hold of charge - not a major problem, but the battery DOES suck *that* much!
5) The camera is rubbish. Seriously. 2MP. No flash. No zoom (you can download an app to be able to zoom, but to be honest, you shouldn't have to. Yes the 3GS has 3MP camera, but even this is waaaay behind what consumers expect from their phone. How much of a problem would it be to whack in a 5MP camera with a flash?
6) I often have problems with data connection etc again not sure if this is a MNO (Mobile Network Operator) problem or handset problem. Usually sorted by refreshing what i was trying to do....still shouldn't have to do this though.

Just felt like i should vent a little bit, due to my iPhone running out of battery again. Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful device and the user interface is fantastic. The user experience is frustrating at times and if i'm honest can get really annoying!
