I had an old 5G iPod Video and never really used the whole 80gig storage. Then I saw the advertisments for the new Nano. It looked perfect, and it really is. On this baby, you can fit 2000 songs, 7,000 photos, 8 hours of video or a combination of each.

When you first see it the size strikes you like lightning! It is incredibly small to say the stuff you can fit on, and very thin too. You probably have a size in your mind, and yeah, so did I, but when you really see it, when you hold it, its smaller and sleeker than ever.

The songs are very clear, the sound is great, and iTunes includes gapless playback so that there's no long gaps between one song ending and the next starting. You get album artwork and can adjust the name, artist etc by opening iTunes and editing.

The photos are very clear and sharp. The screen is only 2" but the iPod and photos work really well together to give you great slideshows with music in the background - music of your choice.

And finally, the video - the biggest thing to hit the Nano! You can fit 8 hours of TV, movies, etc on this little beauty, and thats 30 episodes of a standard 20-minute long show, such as Pimp My Ride, available from the iTunes Store.

I give it 5 stars because its so good if you want an iPod, you want video, photos and of course songs, but you dont want something to big or bulky like the classic. It fits perfectly in your pocket and is now game - friendly.

Get one of these sown into your hood so, every time you need it, it will be there.
Can't do much really without it.
It's a Charger, FTP device and it also works with all the other products you can attach to the Ipod.
Such as my current favorite, the Solio, for free fast battery Recharges.

The battery time is rather good for what this machine can do.

First if you have just got your ipod an loaded it up and all worked well, n then Software upgrade failed..Suddenly, SYNC problems, and errrors,, do this.

Take your ipod to another machine.. A friends machine. re download Itunes 8 FREE. RE SYNC and restore the Ipod there. Now go back to your machine. Connect, SYNC, now then upgrade or do what ever you originally planned. It should work fine again now. READ on for adding mp3 music and other files to your IPOD touch 2nd gen 32gb.

I also found the player would not load my favorite music and videos and some pictures. So i called Apple. They asked me for the serial number n then i spoke to the very helpfull ppl at Apple. They told me to open Itunes 8, then goto File tab then scroll down to ADD FOLDER? i then got told to browse folders i wanted to add. i quikly added the video, pictures and music it previuosly failed to automatically pick up during the SYNC.

After doing as told, all worked and now i have all in my ipod. The next SYNC WORKED>GReat 2000+ photos i have taken ...on my ipod

The sounds via earphone are great.

Summary: I bought the iPod touch when it first came out late September 2008, and have been using it on daily basis since then. This is one of few products that the more I use it, the more I Like it.

When the unit has turned off the screen it becomes a mult-step process to do anything. You can't just push a button to play/pause. This is made worse by that fact the device does not work well with gloves.

This is a personal preference issue, but I hate cover flow. It looks neat, but its a hugely ineffecient way to get to my music. I don't browse that way, I use play lists. What really gripes me is you can't turn it off either. If you tilt the player the wrong way it will switch to cover flow.

Not too much to say but you can tell it's Apple designed. A very clean design which is easy to use. Useful clips stop the dock connector disengaging. Many a time this has prevented my iPod falling on the floor with potentially very expensive consequences.
My only concern is the dock connector casing is a bit fragile and can come apart. I have had to glue a few back together to return them to their former glory.
On the whole, worth spending the extra for a high-quality cable which looks great and gives you that bit extra.

Well, firstly as it IS an Apple product, it looks fantastic!
Secondly, it syncs music and videos extremely quickly to your iPod and is overall a great item!
