Anywhere But L.A.

I really liked 'Anywhere But Here,'it was enjoyable and funny. Susan Sarandon and Natalie Portman who are two great actresses of their respective generations make a wonderful team as mother and daughter in this film as they trade the security of their small -town life in Wisconsin for the unkwown bright lights of city life in L.A.I've always admired Ms Sarandon as an actress and after seeing her play so many intense and dramatic roles on screen it was quite a change to see her playing a whimsical and far from practical mother who needs the hand of her steady, reliable and serious daughter to help guide her through life and it's realities at times.
'Anywhere But Here,'is a great comedy/drama about mothers and daughters, big city life vs small town life and about how life is constantly one big voyage of discovery.A wonderful film, see it!
