If you would like to watch a heart warming story, Anne of Green Gables is for you.
It was my eldest sister who first intoduced me to Anne, soon it was a movie that we bonded over. Unfortuneatly our copy was missed placed when she got married, so I made it my aim to find Anne for my sister as a maid of honour preasent for my upcoming wedding.
Our bond is as strong as ever with Anne in our DVD player.

Anne of Green GablesAn excellent rendering of the story. Megan Follows does superb job of bringing Anne to life. She is an excellent choice for allowing the character to age from 11 to 17 in the course of a 2 hour movie. The more mawkish aspects of Anne are set aside and she comes across as what she is in the book - a tomboy with a wild streak who still loves romance and the beauty of the world around her. No wonder Gilbert falls for her.
