It's the early hits of The Animals while Alan Price was still with them. It shows the raw energy of the band, although it says hits, some of the tracks are from LPs, this is possibly The Animals at their best. I bought it specifically for the track, Boom Boom, which they perform very well. Eric Burdon's voice is superb and really fits the Rhythm & Blues tracks such as Bright Lights Big City, Around and Around, She Said Yeah, etc. These were standard tracks that most bands in the 60's covered. A must for all fans of The Animals.

My parents were both fans of the animals so i grew up listening to there music at home and in the car!
Whilst looking around on Ebay I came across this album and decided to buy it to bring back some childhood memories.
I think the Animals songs are timeless classics for instance The House of the Rising Sun!
