Angel - Series 1 - Complete (DVD 2001)

Angel proved to be an excellent spin-off and highly popular series to Buffy The Vampire Slayer, The way it was portrayed was excellent, Similar to Buffy but yet, totally different. The special effects in the complete series 1-5 were incredible and with each episode different it always kept you at the edge of the seat wondering what was going to happen in the next episode and season. In season one it shows Angel first leaving Sunnydale for L.A, then meeting up with a half demon, half human called Doyle as they both join forces in the battle against evil, Cordelia Chase comes along (From the hit series Buffy) and Doyle's love for cordelia grows and grows until one vision Doyle has forces him, Angel and cordelia to help a group of half demon breed being hunted by demon hunters with a dangerous tool that illiminates anything with human blood in them, forced to find a "sancturary" for them the dangerous tool gets activated and an attempt to save the half breed demons begins, Doyle kisses Cordelia and in doing so passes on his connection from the powers that be (PTB) - His visions and saves the lives of the other demons - with the price of...he sacrifices his own to do so, Going into season 2 we see cordelia having the visions and using them to save the lives of others, when they join forces with Wesley Wyndam-Price (Alexis Denisof, also starred in buffy as a watcher) after he becomes a "Rogue demon hunter" after chasing an empathy demon through different states until he finally reaches L.A, towards the end of season 2 we see Cordelia being kidnapped, and being sold at auction for her eyes (the visions) and her being bought for $30,000 by the evil law firm wolfram & hart, Angel and wesley save the day and cordelia. Season 3 Proves the visions are too much for cordelia and while having a visions she goes into a catatonic state and leaves her body until "skip" gives her some options that could save her life, but there is a price - she is to have no connection with Angel again, Angel also has a son - Connor with evil twice over Darla. Later on the season we will see an old enemy of Angel's come to L.A to seek revenge on him for killing his wife and 2 children - back in the 1700's! He takes on a gang of people seeking revenge on vampires, Where wesley tries to save Angel's son by taking him away and he ends up with his throat slit by one of Angel's ememies gang member and the baby gets taken away, where Holtz (Angels old enemy) takes his son to a hell dimension to raise him as his own - His son escapes the hell dimension and goes to see angel - only now - 3 months on he is 16 years old and joins up with another of Angel's enemy and makes Angel disappear....Will Angel be saved???.....
