The second full length american music club long player and while not as accessible as later works (california,everclear) certainly a must for any amc fan. Eitzel's lyrics are beginning to be honed to the skills that would win him rolling stone's songwriter of the year and the voice seems fuller and the band more confident. Standout tracks are "Outside This Bar" "Mom's T.v." and the wonderfully bleak "Electric Light".
