I bought a car (through e-bay) unfortunately the CD multichanger was absent although the head unit and all wiring were present. This unit replaced the one which would have been supplied originally. It doesn't jump when driving over bumps and it changes between cd's very fast. It does not support MP3 cds, but neither does the BMW standard stereo.
