Alias - Series 1 (DVD 2003)

I don't have the time to keep up with tv series so i buy them on DVD and watch them at my convenience, did an all nighter for several series.. anyway i'm a fan, of Alias. It was cheaper than alot of other sites i visited, ebay is great and the sellers i've dealt with were a godsend.. Only thing make sure that the region code is the right for your pc/laptop, as i found that i had to change mine around a bit, but apart from that, i watched most of the series on my laptop and 1 on the dvd player.

once this got going,it becomes very addidive, if you like stuff like 24, with a sexy leading lady then this is the one for you.Great story, I have now watched every Alias series and now I am wondering how to carry on with life !!
I cant recomend this highly enough....its just fantastic !

Alias is one of the best series so far,There is a lot of Action in it and Jennifer Garner is a great actresses,They is nothing that i dislike about it,The reason i decided to buy it is because I started watching series 5 and i thought it was really great so i thought i would buy series 1.

Great first season, lots of twists and turns and always keeps the viewer's attention throughout. Jennifer Garner shows ample dexterity as the secret agent that plays for both SD-6 and the CIA while the supporting cast, especially Ruth Rifkin as head of the Los Angeles SD-6 are especially good. All in all despite how you may feel about the twists and turns (there may be too many or they are just too ridiculous) its a spy series and a particularly good one at that. Highly recommended

If you have not seen this fab series from the begining, then you are missing out. Any questions you may have or if you are confused about certain storylines, then this will answer them. I would recomend this, it has some great extras, blooper real (which is a little short, but still funny), deleted scenes and much more. If you were'nt a fan to start, you will be. It will compel you to watch the next four seasons and watch all the twists and turns. Some shocks and some heartbreaking episodes. Jennifer Garner who plays Sidney Bristow is such a good actress, they way she can portray pain (emotional and physical) like no one else.
Try it and you will see.

A friend told me about Alias, I'd never seen it before so I had a look for series 1 on Ebay and bought it.
BEWARE - Alias is addictive lol, we're now on series three, already bought series 4.
I can't put my finger on it, it's just brilliant.

After being hooked on the box set of 24 we decided to see what Alias was about. It is very good, with all the right ingredients, although some of the stunts and constant high kicks got on my nerves and were a little cringy! Good story line keeps you interested, although very far-fetched in places! Would give it a good rating as nothing currently tops 24 for me! Saying all this, this is from a female point of view, my husband although thinking the lead female very sexy lost interest in it.

Ok, I started watching alias by accident and started with the 3rd series (weird...i know!). From then,i was hooked!! Its a fantastic show that has suspense, thrill, romance and action (the cute guys are also good to watch hehe). Every episode is different and unique, and I'm upto the point where i can't watch just one...I have to watch another one...and another one...and another one hahaha I hope that you enjoy it as much I have. Roll on the second season!!

I actually decided to buy this boxset on a whim, I'd seem random episodes here and there and decided that I wanted to see what it was like from the start.

What I love about it is that you're always kept on the edge of the seat, the action is great, the charactisation and the how the actors portray their characters is great.

I don't think there was anything that I disliked about it.

If anyone ever considers buying it and they like things like Buffy, CSI, Angel or Xena or something along those lines, it's great, I think they'll definitely enjoy it.

Missed this on TV and after hearing good reports of the series decided to buy on ebay.I am now a great fan, Jennifer Garner is good!The series is fast moving and entertaining,the whole thing is the best of its kind that I have seen.

Best tv programme ever. I've seen all the other series but missed the first so was really happy to get it on eBay

If you have seen 24 and Prison Break and then watch Alias you will be very disappointed. Not sure as to the target audience it's aiming at but reminded me of James Bond with too much silly kick boxing. Not for me i'm afraid

As I was looking for this dvd for some time it was easy to obtain it from ebay. It was in an excellent condition ,cheaper than in the stores and also convenient when buying as it was delivered to my door without any hassles

Very good series, easy to watch each episode leaves you keen to watch the next.

There are 6 series so that also must count for something, i have already ordered series 2

I wanted to see this TV show long time ago, now I had chance to buy whole 1st season. It has great idea, it is not boring and what else main role has my favourite actress. Thank you for bargin and I can recomend thi show.

The coolest spy drama on TV.Each episode leaves you wanting more with the storylines building without fully revealing themselves as one dimensional.

it's very different to what is on tv at present, it gets you involved and feel the need to watch more. Have watched all series 1-4 and currently bidding on series 5. Micheal Vaughn..MMMMM

Follow the life of Sydney Bristow from her beginnings as a secret agent and watch how her life unravels as all she believed in turns out to be false. Exciting and gripping, you'll be left wanting more. The acting is superb and the story lines believable.

Just love Alias and very happy with my purchase. The picture was clear and no problems with it at all. the box was in good condition.

I love this series it adventurous and full of action and suspense.
Its got a good plot to it as well i would recommend it

having watched this programme again more resent i decided to try and find all seriers of this show.Jennifer Garner plays cia agent sydney Bristow this dvd is packed with non stop action plot twist everything it gets better the more i watch it.

I purchased this box set because I had heard good reviews about it. It is a fast moving action series which is a little in the style of "James Bond" with impossible stunts but the story line is good and the acting in the main is excellent so you can forgive the "over the top" stunts. I was impressed overall so have now purchased Alias Series 2 which I hope is just as good.
