Aircraft Carrier Wow! what a letdown!
Review created: 21/02/09(updated 21/02/09)

I was immediately attracted to the this DVD in the eBay listing. The generic title and the good quality colour values somehow implied another point of view was being presented. The British Carrier depicted and European DVD production, and .all available at a reasonable price well! how could you go wrong?
The item turns out to be a rehash of hackneyed WW ll footage without exception all US Navy content. This war, of course, starting in 1942 at Pearl Harbour, and was confined entirely to the Pacific Ocean. Nobody else seem to be involved, other than the Japanese, who generously provided their Navy in the active target role. They also had the only other aircraft carriers mentioned throughout the whole DVD.
Postwar the "Aircraft Carrier" and the US navy took on N.Koreans and N Vietnam who, despite not having Carriers, had plenty of attitude, were Commie Pinko bastards and had to be taught a lesson. All interesting stuff if have just arrived here from the planet Mars!
So here we go again with the chance for the winner to edit history and present on the latest technology and sell it through a novel cyber marketing tool. Ironic that after all these years more naval fleets are now using carriers than ever before and the growing interest is being fuelled by such bias, one sided accounts that are so amazingly incomplete documentaries for the narrow areas discussed.
Not to thrilled with this effort.
