Weird and wonderful Charlize Theron delivers a sublime performance with the looks to match, making me long to smash one into her and spill the yogurt truck from opening to end. Visually stunning scenes superbly shot in the most dramatic of futuristic landscapes add the right feeling in the essence of the storyline. Lots of great ideas entwined together left me moist in anticipation for more. Can see how this could be not everyone’s cup of tea so my advice is if you enjoyed such films as Underworld, Equilibrium and Serenity then check this baby out

Ruled by the Goodchild dynasty, it is a perfect society of peace and prosperity - except that its citizens keep mysteriously disappearing. Charlize Theron stars as Aeon Flux, a secret agent/assassin/warrior whose mission is to bring down the regime. But as she goes deeper into her mission, Aeon uncovers some shocking secrets that put the mission - and her life - in danger.

Straight from her amazing, Oscar-winning performance as the serial killer in Monster, Charlize Theron struts her stuff here as an implacable assassin in the last city left on Earth following a pandemic that has wiped out almost all mankind. The plot is often confusing but no-one falls asleep when Charlize leaps (literally) into action. The amazing "sets" are actually real! The film was shot in futuristic Berlin buildings never seen in a film before. The "extras" are fascinating.

The story and the script (there's actually one?) is boring and its always going nowhere.

The characters are badly created and you simply just Don't care what happens to them...

The acting is awful (and YES,that includes Charlize).The casting is a total disaster, and the FX looks very old and cheap.

If you are like me and love a bit of Sci-Fi Action then this Film will be your cup of Tea!
Charlize Theron is Aeon Flux the perfect Assassin, and she does it well and looking extremely HOT at the same time!
If you think this might be your sort of Film I recomend going for the Collector's Edition for the Extra Features.

Charlize Theron is Aeon Flux - an assassin cum resistance figher - hellbent on destroying the totalitarian rule of the last surviving city on Earth. On her most dangerous mission she begins to uncover a secret that will change her whole perspective and affect every citizen..on both sides.

Theron is appealing enough, but many of the other performances seem kind of lighteweight. The film at 89 minutes long also seems a little rushed, and would feel better if it was fleshed-ou a lot more. All that being said - it's a decent enough sci-fi film..even though the ideas held within it have been done bigger and better before.

This DVD features Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound and is presented in 2.35:1 Anamorphic widescreen. Bonus features include two commentaries, featurettes and the theatrical trailer.

I thought the story line was good about people being 'recycled' so to speak. But there was just too many effects. You had people bouncing off walls, ninja moves every 2 minutes and you could really tell which bits had been done by a computer. If you like that sort of stuff then this would be a great movie for you but if your like me and got bored of watching the Matrix, then maybe this is a film you won't want to even bother seeing.

Not a bad sci-fi film about a futuristic world where everything is not as it seems. Some of the action sequences and fights are entertaining but it's not the best film I've seen recently.

This film rocks form the point that you find out what is going on ? what is going on an air ship fly's round with the DNA of the local people and she can jump and talk to people by taking a pill .. whats wrong with using a phone? talking to to little people in your head very odd all in all a great film !!

a must have film for ur hd dvd collection ,picture quality astounding all thats missing when you watch is the popcorn seller,a good film to watch on a stormy night in with a bottle of wine

Very good camera work, and the music is also good.
Charlize was more than reasonable and her looks in spite of going brunette should please the lads. However she was not stretched at all, and the dialogue and plot could have done with more refinement and impact.
Other actors needed better direction and depth of character.
Surprising how we have progressed so little from Bladerunner but not enough to create awe from the viewer.
All in all a good romp to pass a rainy night in.

Item is as described and the seller has other DVD's at excellent prices.

I do realize the postage would have to increase if DVD's were delivered in padded packaging, but I think this could be offered as a choice. This is why I have rated seller as good rather than excellent. My DVD arrived undamaged and in good condition.

I never got to see Aeon Flux on general release but it looked interesting. And like too many films of the genre, it doesn't go much beyond eye-candy. Visually the film is stunning but you would expect that with the current state of film technology. And it does have a plot that is supported by the graphics, rather than a graphic-led spectacular with a little bit of plot nailed on to flesh out the action sequences.

I didn't find the film absorbing enough to bother with the DVD extras, so I can't really comment on those.

A diverting hour or so, rather than a memorable experience. Do what I did; buy it, watch it, sell it.

Basicly I a movie buff and I watch any film pritty much. With this film it had a good all though it seemed to be slightly stolen from a mixture of many movies, it had a great cast of actors but sadly seemed to not make them excel. This movie had the feel of equilibrum but didn't have the punch that it did with the action nor Chritian Bail.

This movie is for people who like a light hearted and happy ending sci-fi/romance lol. Films I would advice are Equilibrum, The Matrix and not my choice but Underworld 1 or 2.

I thought this was a well thought out story line with enough plot twists to keep me hooked and enough action to make it really interesting without pushing it too far!
Overall a really good film although I probably wouldn't watch it more than once or twice.

The sort of film you can watch anytime simple plot great special fx and of course sexy Charlize Theron what more can you want A++++

I love buying dvds an just searched on ebay and found this DVD. The problem is that i cant enjoy this dvd as i never recieved it. When i contacted the buyer they said they could not do anything and would not refund me. I would have loved to have watched this dvd

great dvd loved every bit of it ^_^ was a dvd i wanted since it got released so i decided to buy it.

I firstly decided to buy the dvd as I love those sort of films, however it didn't turn out to be as I thought. The film was confusing and not as interesting as you may think, it's the sort of film where you think "was that's great" but it turns out to be the opposite.

I'm sorry but I didn't enjoy this film, it was not as I thought. Although I think it had a good story line to it, and some action scenes were quiet OK, but all in all it was very confusing.

Price was good. item was described well and good communication with the seller.
item arrived well packaged and feedback was left quickly by both parties.
