Amazing - small but -fully- useable! This little machine cracks along so well it's replaced both my home and work laptops (both Dual-Core's). Battery-life with the 3-cell battery averages at ~2.5 hours.
So, what's no so good? The WiFi switch feels cheap/flimsy and upgrading the memory to the max. of 1.5GB is no simple tasks (you essentially have to sticp some of the machine apart - not too bad if you're careful ...). Casing, although looks fab, marks reasonably easily. - These are minor gripes!
All round Acer has a winner here, I love this laptop!!!

What a marvellous machine, Pretty, sensibly priced and useful. I keep it abroad for staying in touch when on hols. It is just the job with its removable storage slots and plenty of usb slots. Handy webcam which i use with a usb phone for talking and texting via skype or just email on it. Easy wifi makes it simple to use wherever you are and its size makes it ideal to take to the local bar for my daughter to use while i have a pint!
Be nice to have a larger screen sometimes but for me its a good buy. Love it!

Very nice netbook and worth every penny, don't think that because these are advertised just for use with the internet that that's all there good for, the 1GB Windows XP version are more than fast enough for everyday usage. The only problem i have with the Aspire One is the short battery life, witch lasts only a couple of hours with normal usage (WiFi on.etc)But in my opinion the Aspire One is the best netbook for the price.

good machine worth the money. we wanted a small compact laptop that we could take on holidays etc and thats what we got. can c=look and book things whilst away at your convienence.
