Acer Aspire 5315 PC Notebook

my son chose this laptop to use for school/uni etc.. He wanted something cheap but capeable of storing music downloads and playing dvd's etc.. This laptop gives the performance of a top of the range model but only half the price! it is ideal for students.

Brand new laptop, at the reasonoble price. Came with all that is required: charger, battarey and OS(Vista).

Bad Points: Quite large and slow to startup if you get the 512mb version. It really needs a mem upgrade to work properly but put the full 2gb in and it really flyes.

General comments: Budget laptop but has a very good display which is bright with good colour depth and contrast. Solidly built it looks quite stylish and is not heavy despite its size. There are some really good deals around . Asda have it at £240 and I know you can cget it some places under £200! Well recommend the Acer Aspire 5315.

liked the key board colour , but did not like finishing material.

I liked the price so much that I had to bid for it. So it is a presant for my dauther`s tenth birthday.

1: ease of use it's so simple to use 2:looks it does look good 3:well made and very repairable 4: upgradable it surely is 5:my wife likes it so what can i say it really goes quite well on windows xp and the battery lasts roughly 2 hours so it can be used of the mains to surf the net and we charge it up overnight when we got it windows vista was loaded and it seemed slow so we upgraded the ram to 2 gigs changed to xp pro and now it really does fly

A Great laptop some issues with it running hot and shutting down
have been resolved with the latest bios upgrade the laptop still runs
hot but has stopped shutting down it has a brilliant screen with sharp focus
and bright colours and is a good second computer to have

That is certainly a very good laptop computer and an excellent upgrade to my former COMPAQ ARMADA M700.

And through Ebay, I got a pretty good deal. Compared to the NEW price in a store!
