This board is ideal if you still have an AGP graphics card or want to upgrade from the old socket A, AMD Athlon based system, as in my case.
The board features an AGP8X slot, 3 PCI slots, silent technology (which works)and a whole host of features. It also has the extra power supply connection needed for modern processors as they take a lot more power than previous generation processors (as well as bigger cpu fans).
I am using this board with an Athlon 64 3200+, PNY Geforce 7300GT 8XAGP 512MB, 1024 KINGSTON PC2100 DDR's, 160Gig seagate hard disk, XP Pro, Akasa fan.
