AC/DC - Back In Black [ECD] [Remastered] (CD 2003)

Back in Black was released as a tribute to AC/DC legend Bon Scott who tragically died aged just 33 in London in 1980. And what a tribute album it is. From the opening funereal style bell ringing of 'Hells Bells' right through to the final track 'Rock n Roll aint noise pollution' this album is fantastic. Although the albums with Bon Scott were brilliant, AC/DC were only really on the verge of world wide greatness until this one came out. Back in Black is one of the best selling albums EVER in the world. Statistics like that speak for themselves. 10/10 for this one.

Excellent cd from an excellent band..This is by far one of their greatest albums of all time..Every song is a power house, and has stood the test of time very well !!! Buy and play loud !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this is one of the iconic rock albums of all time, every song blasts out of the speakers like a runaway train the sound now is unbelievable so clear and crisp way ahead of the original album buy it now

I love this cd its defently ac/dc at their best. Brian Johnson had a bit of a way to go to match the legendary Bon Scott, but the vocal range on this cd shows that he can. Top class songs, the title track and the brilliant you shock me all night long prove what a class cd this is.

I love this album!!! Had it originally on vinyl, and played it endlessly. I think this is my favourite AC/DC album, the tracks are all wonderful quality and have deep meaning to them. Two of the tracks were played at a friends funeral who died very young, and moved all the people there, regardless of age or musical preference, so I think this is certainly an album that many people would enjoy, even if they don't realise it!!!

Having once played this album to death on vinyl some years ago, I thought it was time to raise the roof once more. WOW. With or without the scratches (Vinyl Character I call it) this is a magnificent Album, with all tracks hitting the spot. Back in Black certainly does raise the roof and can only be appreciated at high volumes. With Track 10 "Rock n roll aint noise pollution" fading as the album ends it leaves you with a deep sense of satisfaction and hungry for more AC-DC. If you like it heavy A BIG THUMBS UP ! ! ! ! !

I like the soft touch of the cover and the good illustrated booklet inside; I dislike the half photo of Angus comparing to the LP. I also like the black cd.
I was ansious to have it because I missed it once in FNAC-Portugal. Very pleased.

Simply one of the greatest metal albums of all time!!
The guitar riffs at the start of Back in Black have to rate alongside All Right Now, Whole Lotta Love etc..

SUPERB ALBUM and worth buying just for the track Back in Black.

Absolutely brilliant. Years since I've heard. Not as good as as vinyl but definitely next best thing. I can't stop playing it.

This is quite simply this is the best hard rock album of all time! ...fueled by the tragic death of frontman Bon Scott at atime when the bad were just making it to the big time...the Young brothers;Angus and Malcolm tgether with Brian Johnson and Phil Rudd bounced back (in black) bigger,badder,meaner with a sonic fueled tribute to their fantastic vocalist... and boy did they do him proud..RIP Bon... you're still the greatest :-)

If you like Rock Back in Black is a must have album...just check out it's sales records they speak for themselves!

hells bells is reminds me of the first time i heard it on a walkman during an 18 hour flight tourist class, surrounded by people being sick, but i still had a good time as i was returning home on leave and looking foward to riding my boniville daytona special. and hells bells just made me feel good

HAVING ONLY HEARD THE SINGLES FROM THIS ALBUM BEFORE & THE FACT THAT I BOUGHT IT AS A PRESENT, I DIDN'T EXPECT A LOT FROM IT.IN FACT I ONLY PLAYED TO MAKE SURE IT PLAYED AS WELL AS IT LOOKED. ON PLAYING IT I THOUGH I DISCOVERED WHAT A GREAT ROCK ALBUM IT IS & AN EXCELLENT EXAMPLE OF SOMETHING WHICH IS GREATER THAN THE SUM OF PARTS. A GREAT BUNCH OF SONG THAT GEL BRILLIANTLY AS AN ALBUM. FANTASTIC!

That rarest of things...an album without a single bad track, every one a power riffing classic. AC/DC finished without Bon Scott? not likely, Brian Johnson's voice, the Young's guitars and Mutt Langes production gave them a fuller sound and new lease of life to become one of the biggest (and definitely loudest!) rock acts in the world....
If you only ever buy one AC/DC album, make it this one, put it in your car cd player, turn it up as loud as you can bear it and go for a long drive.....to rock & roll heaven... :-}
