Celine Dion - A New Day (Live In Las Vegas) (CD 2004)

Item has never been recieved - i emailed the seller to check if it had been sent and recieved a very sarcastic response - dont waste your time & money using this company -even if they had sent the CD as claimed, their customer service skills are a total shambles !!

I have never heard of reviews being written for Ebay purchases before, so when Ebay sent me an email asking me to write a review for some of the items I had recently purchased, I thought, why not, especially as they relate to some CDs and DVDs I have purchased.

The first question I was asked was 'why did I purchase this item. Well, in relation to a Celine Dion CD or DVD, it is usually to replace the one that I already have that has become scratched/damaged/overplayed. I am arguably her number one fan, and have been fortunate enough so far to go to Las Vegas (I live in London, UK) twice to see the 'A New Day' show, and plan to return a third time before the show ends this year. The song selection for the show has changed since 2004 and the songs on this CD no longer make up the entire show; I personally prefer the current selection, I think starting the show with 'A New Day' adds a greater dimension to what is the most spectacular show I have ever seen.

With the benefit of a computer and a CD writer, I now copy my own CDs to play in the car (this was the reason they would get scratched and need replacing), and this CD has already been 'played to death', despite owning every CD Celine has ever recorded, all of which between them will contain every recording on this particular CD, I like the live singing and audience interaction that comes across on the CD, and of course, it reminds me that (although probably not the night this CD was recorded), I was there!

You may think i`m a cheap scape, in fact i just like value for money. I was staying in ceasars palace in las vegas with my wife in august 2006, we had just seen celine dion in her show which my wife thought was fantastic, even i enjoyed it. My wife said she was going to buy the cd of the show later in the week. It costs about £11 in the celine dion shop in ceasars. I went on line, bought it on e-bay for £3.00, paid on paypal, and it was on the mat when we got home from our holiday. everyone was happy. The CD my wife wanted at the price i was happy with -- the wonder of E-BAY -- Fantastic, what more could you want?
