Samsung SGH-D500 Cell Phone

I like this phone, very easy to use. Nice size fits into my pocket easily. It has a loud ringing tone. Nice and easy to see the writing on the sreen.

i liked it so i bought it. it was a phone but thay left phone lock on. comunication was good. and thay offerd a refund if i couldnt get phone lock off has thay had forgot locking code.that gave me a site that would unlock the phone whitch worked so well pleased thanks a1 ebayer.

phone small but very good to use very handy specially is the speaker because I am a old man have hear problem help me a lot best regards

i highly recomend the samsung d 500 it has loads and loads of memory they r smart stylish the only bad thing i can say is the picture quality isnt very good and the hands free speaker doesnt last that long but it makes up for this in so many other ways so if you r looking for a cheap and stylish little phone the D-500 is the phone for you what you waiting for go and bye one today or the d 600 is just as good.

Small compact reasonable battery life and easy to use. Photos not brilliant but adequate. Like having a slide screen

Considering it's age (I THINK 2004) this is a very smart little cell phone. It does everything you would need it to do as well as a couple of little extras including 1.2 mega pixel camera and very groovy media player.
Obviously state of the art at time of release you're definitely getting value for money in today's market due to what this phone can give you. I paid about £22 for my D500 which for what it offers is excellent.

The ergonomics are as you would want them to be and the only downside for me - as a fast text-er - is the key pad accesability. Then again I do have big hands and this is quite a small cell phone!
There is no external memory which limits you as to what you can store on the phone but at the same time there is blue tooth, infra-red and cable share capabilities. Okay, not so fun to have to use yet still not worth dismissing.

All in all this is a very nifty little phone still and definitely worth the buy for anyone seeking a good, decent communication tool and who doesn't mind taking the odd picture here and there!

i purchased this phone as i already had one but it was broke, i was hoping i could make one good one out of the both. i havent done this yet but i will soon as i have time

Great phone the D500... I was a Nokia man until my freind recomended Samsung... I got a D500 and loved it... Very solid phone I take it to work and it takes the knocks no probs... it's got the functions I want nice display and easy keypad.

samsung D500. these phones are fantastic, easy to use, very reliable, ideal for children and adults alike because of ease of use.

Previously I had an old Nokia 3310 mobile phone and it was very good . But having seen someone with the Samsung SGH-D500 Mobile and being shown how it worked I was hooked! But how to get one? they weren`t on sale anymore as brand new, so the answer, of course, was look on E-Bay. Bingo I got one for just £35 and its very good indeed, easy to operate, logical, and very user freindly. It also has its own small loudspeaker for MP3 music and its own headphones. All round its a well built and very good phone especially for the money I paid!

so why i buy? appeasement!

bought camera and all that was said in description, till i went out and paid for a sim card and 10.00 credit and yhen found out phone has no sound so you would need to hold in your hand to feel vibration of someone ringing another e bay rip off, 3 in just 4 weeks for me think reconsider buying on here

I bought this phone for the pure fact my Sony Ericsson W580i and W880i's both have recently broken so i needed a 'cheap' replacement. Having owned this phone previously i knew it was a great little phone with great asthetics. Has everything you need and comes with a great price tag. 4/5

Been around a long time the D500 but you can pick one up 2nd hand for less than £20. This phone has an incredible internal memory which can be loaded with photos video texts and data, and still have room for more, even as this don't have memory card facility,

The camera is 1.2mp and is good quality for that price range, video is good too and seems endless, you can use it on the TV OUT to record all of the data onto DVD recorder which I have always done to keep those special memories, how many people delete its priceless video and pics of kids cause they have no where to put it.

Has bluetooth and internet and is probably the best phone in the under £40 price range, I bought this one for £18 off ebay to send to an adult in the Philippines, this is still an expensive phone there in Asia so a great bargain handset for adult or child with stylish looks and impressive specs without feeling out of place or breaking the bank.

As I am a sony ericsson fan strictly and only, remembering this phone from years ago overall was a great phone and still is great to use. I still think this phone was way better than the D600.

Things I dislike is the lack of memory built in and you cannot use memory sticks to extend file space. The menu can also be a bit of a pain and alot of the time complicated.

I baught this phone for a friend as he doesnt have the internet and has a realy small budget.

but I only needed it to time my runs really, i'll get some superglue. And it was very cheap anyway.

the phone was in good condition as described, but it is faulty. The cursor keys dont go up, on it when scrolling for contacts or messages.The seller did say that everything worked on the phone.
