50 Cent - The Massacre (Special Edition) [ECD] [PA] (CD 2005)

This is 50's second official album which, is rated a good as the first but slightly different from what he showed us last time around. Its another brilliant album well worth purchasing and listening to. This album shows a side of 50 where life is looking brighter in his carear so far.

There are also tracks like Piggy Bank, In Ma Hood, I'm Supposed To Die Tonight and Candy Shop.

I have loved 50 cent since the first time i heard one of his tracks, my favourite track is Piggy bank, dont ask why it just makes sense to me about his life, rap was a big part of my school life with me and my mates, and i think 50 has come through to us all in his clever lyrics and realisation of waht life is about!

Two years on from his pledge to get rich or die trying, New York's Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson is turning his guns on the opposition. Barely ten seconds into The Massacre, the first innocent – a young woman opening her Valentine's present, no less – is dispatched in a hail of gunfire, and from there on in, the carnage seldom lets up. "Piggy Bank" sees him tossing insults at Jadakiss, Ja Rule, Nas, Fat Joe, and Kelis in the verses, and counting his big piles of money in the chorus, while "Gatman and Robbin" – featuring vocals and production from Eminem – paints the pair as gun-toting supergangstas with bulletproof vests and an all-for-one-and-one-for-all attitude to beef.

When i first bought this album i thought this would be similar to the first, an absolute classic with mostly Dre beats. When i first bought it, it wasn't what i expected at all, i thought it was really bad actually.
But after i got over my first impression, this album really grows on you and is actually really great. Outta Control is probably the best song (Dr Dre club beat, not the awful Mobb Deep remix they released afterwards). Also think that his song with Eminem is a lot better and more catchy than his previous, Patiently Waiting.

Other songs that stand out are I'm Supposed to Die Tonight which has a great beat and is a classic song in my opinion. Also love Get in my Car, another Dre beat; Position of Power, which is more of his gangster side; Disco inferno, another club beat; Piggy Bank, dissing Jadakiss, Fat Joe and Nas on this one and has a catchy hook.

The song with Jamie Foxx is laid back, as 50 cent raps about the ladies. Ryder Music, Baltimore Love Thing and Ski Mask way are all chilled out which are different to 50 cent's usual style but still good songs after listening to them closely.

Songs which didn't really impress me would be In My Hood, This is 50, I Don't Need em and God Gave me Style. The others were released by 50 cent (Just a Lil' Bit and Candy Shop) and are both pretty good but outplayed for me.

I brought it because I enjoy his music. It is nice apart from the swearing in it but apart from that it is a really good cd. thank you kateh

When did i decide to buy this? It's 50Cent everyone should have a copy of this and to have a copy of special edition, even better!!

in comparison to other cds ive viewed,this is excellent value for money,and not only has a vast choice of music on it,it also came with a cd/rom for personal viewing

The Massacre is much better than 50 Cent's 1st album GET RICH OR DIE TRYIN this album has better beats and much better lyrics. It also has some good material such as piggy bank and Gunz come out This cd is best cd I've heard since loyal to the game by 2pac.

i like it cos its rap ad iam into it! i decided to buy it cos i wanted it for ages but never got round to buying it!
