50 Cent - Get Rich Or Die Tryin' (Special Edition) [ECD] [PA] (CD 2003)

This was a purchase for my son and he was very pleased with it and i was because i had to pay for it.

I decided to buy the CD because the seller was offering it at a reasonable price with reasonable postage. Unfortunately, it turned out that I wish I'd never stumbled across the CD or the seller. He is uncommunicative, unhelpful and hostile. I sent payment the day after I won the CD but only found out that it had not arrived when I had an email from ebay warning me that the seller had filed a dispute! I thought it was all sorted out and I forgave the unreasonable action as a business matter. I can't forgive, however, the quality of the CD when it arrived. It plays one track over and over again, considering I was sent two bonus discs instead of the real CD with real music on it. I complained to the seller, alerted him to the fact that the CD was useless and that he'd made a mistake, but I was told flatly that there was nothing wrong with the CD and there was nothing he was going to do to remedy the situation. He then had the cheek to mar my perfect 100% feedback by leaving a negative, even though he was in the wrong all the way down the line. I will never shop with this particular seller again.

This album is a master peice. It meets all needs and has a good mix with tracks like Meny Men and In Da Club its a must get for all hiphop fans.
After his first album Power of The Dollar was scrapped because of the shooting incident this is a great project on Interscope. Working with Dr Dre & Shady.

by far all his greatest songs he has ever done all put in 1 cd and that is gud.if you like 50 cent then this is a must have item

This album is the best by 50 Cent. I bought it because I have the other 2 and the songs on this are fabulous. I recommend it to anyone.

I was bought this CD for Christmas because I LOVE 50 Cent. A great compilation of great songs from great artistes. A lot of swearing but HEYHO. A secondhand CD at a great price from a good ebayer. GREAT. 50 Cent, Eminem, Young Buck, Tony Yayo, Nate Dogg, Lloyd Banks.Producers include: Dr. Dre, Eminem, John Freeman, Red Spyda, Terence Dudley. With its inclusion on the mega-successful 8 MILE soundtrack, 50 Cent's "Wanksta" blew up in late 2002, calling out the hypocrisies of wannabe gangstas who boast of criminal exploits that exist only in their imaginations. If anyone has the right to speak it's 50 Cent; he made his mark in the streets (not to mention newspapers) long before Eminem inked the Queens rapper to his Shady Records. In between the occasional single and album, 50 Cent has been involved in many notorious hip-hop confrontations. Hands down, 50 Cent is the biggest buzz rapper since Eminem (who just happens to be his label CEO), and Get Rich also features Dr. Dre on production, so it’s a can’t-miss record, right? Well, mostly. Get Rich is not filled with midtempo, radio-friendly numbers like "Wanksta," his thinly veiled Ja Rule dis first heard on the 8 Mile soundtrack. Instead, Cent brings the heat. He sheds his inner thug on "21 Questions," featuring G-funk crooner Nate Dogg showing some semblance of respect to the hotties, and then reverts right back to his thug persona on "In da Club," where he boasts "I’m into having sex, I ain’t into making love." although "Many Men" comes close, as he addresses some of the haters who may not fully get why he’s now rap’s God. totally talentless and banal performer who relys totally on the shock value of offensive language and cynically exploits the fact that there's a lot of kids who wanna be gangsters out there who will part with their cash so as to associate themselves with the gangster image and persona.........in the end its just a clever marketing ploy by the music companies

i bought this cd for my boyfriend as he has always lliked 50 cen and this was a real bargain.there is quite a bit of swearing but it does warn you about this before you buy it

First of all I cant wait to hear 50's next album. This album is a classic no matter what anyone says. I've heard a lot of people on these review dissing him but 50 proved why he is potentially the best rapper of all time. I love the album and felt everything he said. Many Men is an instant classic and Back Down is one of the best diss tracks around. 50 is hot and those who don't like him are just jealous. The man is ON FIRE

This is an excellent collaboration between 50 Cent and Dr Dre, as a long time fan of Dre it hits all the right buttons and 50 Cent has a real grip on the Hip Hop scene.

even though this does have some 1 star reviews, dont get it wrong, by todays standards, this is a very good rap album, even though 50 cent isnt a particularly good lyricist, the beats on here are all very good, 50 cent does have his moments, some good wordplay and emotional lyrics, he also has some pain in his voice which makes his voice better, and he doesnt try and stretch the boundaries, this album could be played all the way through in partys, and everyone would bounce to every song, and yes, it is almost completely filled with drugs, violence, sex, drive by shootings, etc, look beyond that and see it is actually very good, and im no teenybopper, i like alot of underground rappers, and good commercial rappers, and i own 100 rap albums, so, believe me, this is good,
