+44 - When Your Heart Stops Beating (CD 2006)

Any album that I can listen to all the way through without pressing the skip button deserves five stars and this definetly has earned that right. The album kicks off with the increbible "Lycanthrope" which has to be one of my favourite album intros ever, it's just so powerful and pulls you straight into the album. One reason why I especially love this album is because of all the emotive songs that are on it such as "Little Death", "Weatherman" & "No, It Isn't", the pure emotion that is expressed through these songs is just amazing. Another notable mention is the beatiful duet "Make You Smile" which features vocals from former member Carol Heller. There are also bonus acoustic versions of Baby Come On & Weatherman which are definetly worth checking out.

It's a shame that this album gets compared with blink 182 alot as I feel people would enjoy it even more if they forget that this album resulted from the breakup of Blink and just focused on the quality of music that's on this album.

In search of my Blink182 fix i came across this album, features 2 of the guys from Blink, and a far better album than the one by Box Car Racer, this is very much more in the mould of Blink182, although, i would say it is a natural progression from their last album as Blink182, is is not as good as the earlier blink stuff, my favourite being Enema Of The State. Still worth a listen if you liked Blink182 and you bought their albums up until the split.

I heard the track on tv ,bought the cd as it was a bargain price ,recieved it 2 days later. Like i said GREAT service.

Great pop-punk very much in style of Blink 182/Boxcar Racer, which is probably because Travis Barker is drummer in this band too. You will not be disappointed if you're a Blink 182 fan!

After the split of Blink 182, Mark and Travis formed a band of their own and dont sound too different from Blink, but they have done a good job of it and this is a good album with many likeable songs

Mark and Travis have continued the Blink legacy. Though I miss Tom's voice on some tracks, I can easily have seen this album as a followup to the self titled last Blink 182 album. Though it has the fun punk-pop songs I love, it also has some maturity and experimentation. I like this much more than the Angels and Airwaves album which seemed so far removed from the Blink sound which I will always be a fan. Though I would have made Lycanthrope the first single, When Your Heart Stops Beating is a good up tempo song as well.
