Alien Ant Farm - ANThology [PA] (CD 2001)

I bought this album in the Spring of 2006, after re-discovering the brilliant Alien Ant Farm. I was watching the music channels on TV when the video of their cover of Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal" came on. Whilst listening to the song I remembered their other hits from that album which I had loved at the age of 11 when they first came out - "Movies" and "Courage" (which has appeared on the soundtrack of a few extreme sports video games). I looked up the band on the internet and discovered that these three songs were all on the ANThology album, and looking on eBay I realised that the 5 year old album of a fairly forgotten band was going quite cheaply. I got a copy for no more than £1.50, and thoroughly enjoyed it. They sound quite like Papa Roach and Limp Bizkit, only they take themselves less seriously. The album is amazing. There isn't one track which you skip every time you play the CD. Some of the songs make you instantly fall in love with them, whilst others grow more rewarding with each listen. Even at full price this CD is worth every penny, but you can probably get it on eBay for a pound. So buy it.

This album will make you smile. You can't beat Smooth Criminal for a top cover.

This is a shake your ass album.

had this album a few years ago and sadly lost it. upon listening to it again now i remember why i loved it so much and i am actually disappointed in myself that i didn't replace it sooner. the stand out track is definitely smooth criminal as it was a hit and a stroke of genius however the other racks are not filler. catchy melodies and a unique slant on the alternative music genre make this something worth having in your collection, if only to fill the gap between green day and paramore (had a bit of a mind blank and these were the best bands of then and now my tiny mind could think of).

this cd shows what AAF are like for definate, it is the best album they did, despite having a cover of Michael Jackson's Smooth Criminal, their writing of music and lyrics are just original... gotta buy this!

Only brought it for one song but thought the others where ok. I would not go out of my way to picjk this out as a recommend album but if you are thinking of buying it then give it a go...........

I bought this cd because I know most of the songs on this album and I like there style of music and because one of my favourite punkrock songs is on there its called wish. There nothing I dont like about
