This is a good listen. I bought this after hearing her later album 'silver lining' a few years ago and it is quite similar. Some great rock/blues tracks with her soulful voice and accomplished guitar playing. All the songs are mainly about love/relationships and the standout ones for me are 'hell to pay' for her vocal and slide guitar playing and the richard thompson song ' dimming of the day' for her strong vocal. A good album if you like American rock/blues. Recommended.
