Well, what can I say about this film? I have been watching this film since I was a kid and have always adored. The more I watch it, the more I love it. I quote it, I sing along to 'I put a spell on you' and I simply adore it. All 3 sisters are wonderful. They provide much comedy and enetertainment and a halloween without Hocus Pocus just wouldn't be complete.
Bette Midler is perfect for the role of Winifred Sanderson, the lead roles are all fantastic actors/actresses and even the cat is great. You'll see what I mean.
Great stuff. A true classic. One film I couldn't live without.

This is one film every family should own!
My Children would not be without this film, myself included!
A Very Well adapted Story of 3 Sister Witches who are 300 years old and are out to cast a spell on the town to reclaim their youth but there are 3 children who are out to spoil their plans... can they do it???
Brilliant acting & oozing with plenty of humor from the likes of Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker & Kathy Najimy.
101% Recommended!

This is a great family film with a superb Bette Midler in the female lead. It has kids, animals, humour, and a fair story line. Its just a nice film to watch which does NOT include sex, violence or bad language! Quite an achievement in this day and age :) Great to watch around Halloween time too! ! !

) Ok, from a child I loved watching this movie. It just had so much in it and all the characters were great, I personally loved Mary played by Katherine Najimy who also did Sister Act, but Bette Midler was so amazing. My favourite part from the moive has to be the Sanderson Sisters performing I Put A Spell On You, even now I love listening to it. The ending was brill too, even though Binx...well "moves on" But I never understood the ending where we see Winifred's book of spells open its eye????

) I bought this as i loved watching it at holloween every year when i was a kid and knew my children would enjoy it! They are always asking to watch it and absolutely love it! My 5 year son has a favourite part and charactor in the film (Billy the zombie) and will laugh and talk about it all the time! My 4 year old daughter loves the witches! Highly recommended film!

I bought the dvd for my boys as they love it!!.....I have to admit so do I.
Great story...not too scary for young ones. It held my boys attention for the whole of the dvd....they enjoyed it so much. We watch it together...and even though they knows what happens....they still love it!

Another great DVD which for my eternal child, is great to bring out seasonally as well as to watch inbetween times.
Great family entertainment with humour and imagination used to the best to ensure all round family veiwing.
The story is about witchcraft set in America, so the season I refer to is Halloween - nothing gorey or harmful to children and great for the imagination - good job

hocus pocus starring bette midlerwhat a film!!! i have ebjoyed this film since i can remeber and now my 2 children are forever borrowing it,,i own it on video and dvd!! my youngest loves the song "come little childen!!" and knows it off by heart,where as my eldest and i know the whole dvd by heart!it is a film that will entertain everyone especiall at halloween with a bowl of popcorn!!! 3 wild witches are accidentially brought back to life and try and reclaim their youth,but must first outwit 3 fiesty kids who are determined to foil there scheme!!with outrageous bewitching laughs and zany fun a must see film for all ages!
