Excellent first edition of a classic by Hitchcock.
In the old, Hitchcock style of using black and white film, this edition of The Thirty Nine Steps is far more atmospheric than more modern colour photography, and also, sticks more closely to the original story by Buchan.
A great film, acted by some of the stalwards of early movies. Something which can be reviewed many times and still remain fresh.
