Free, Inside Free 1968-1972 DVD

As a big Free fan I was curious when I saw this DVD for sale on ebay. So, I bidded for, and won the item. The DVD is a semi-documentary on the band and a critical review of their work. If you are familiar with Free (that is, beyond alright now) then this DVD will have a reasoable curiosity value for you. If Free are new to you( shame on you ) then, I feel, this may encourage you to sample their music. Free were a British blues/rock band with a raw edge and their music had an under current of genuine menace and innocence the likes of, will never happen again in this modern, in your face world. The DVD touches on this and offers a fair reflection of their work. Dialogue and analysis is provided by various musicians, producers and DJ's. I feel I can recommend this DVD to music lovers young and not so young. 8/10
