| Description In Season 1 Jack Bauer is a Federal agent who heads up the Counter Terrorist Unit. He has the task of preventing an assassination attempt on Presidential candidate, Senator David Palmer. The 'assassin' is believed to be working on the inside of the Government. Filmed in real time, Jack faces the worst twenty-four hours of his life. In Season 2 Jack Bauer, former Federal Agent in charge of the Counter Terrorist Unit is still grieving for his wife who was murdered eighteen months ago by a foreign undercover agent and his best friend Nina Myers. Reviews  24 or should that be 48?Review created: 10/05/08 by:  Season 1 and 2 combi. What a brilliant way to start off your 24 viewing pleasure with season 1 and 2 combined into 1 boxset. I’d say this is only a good thing if you cannot pick up the box sets cheaper separately. Otherwise it means one item being posted instead of 2 which is good. I would implore to look fist as season 1 now on its own can be bought under £5 without postage – bargain!! 24 has to be one of the best Action Dramas to come out of the US. I would have to say that the plots are all very predictable but highly addictive The actual transfer on series 1 and 2 from hour to hour is not as slick as 5 or 6 but that I can only imagine has been refined in the main menu set up as time goes on. Report this review One of the best TV shows ever produced - A MUST SEEAfter just finishing series 6 of this, I have to say it is one of the best TV show I have ever watched. It had me hooked from series one, episode one, right the way though to the end of series 6, and I can't wait for series 7 to begin in Jan 2008. I would recommend this to anybody that was looking for something to watch as I guarantee you will not be disappointed. The end of every episode is a cliff hanger! It takes some serious discipline to switch it off and go to bed. And even when you do finally get to bed you'll be up all night wondering what's going to hppen next! Addictive.
